For information about the BYOD seminar organised by CORE and Torque IP between 4pm and 6 pm on Thursday 23 February at the Sudima Hotel.

Some interesting  thoughts
A video recording of Kevin Honeycutt, a keynote speaker at the recent inspirational Learning@Schools conference in Hamilton, on ‘Trends, tools and tactics for 21st century learning’. The ‘other related’ videos on educators talking about learning and teaching are most worthwhile as well.  Check out the messages posted (also called “tweets”) from the conference using the twitter tag #lats12.

A reminder
Encourage all your teachers to join now to the GCSN website www.gcsn.school.nz . It is an increasingly valuable communication portal  and source of digital learning ideas and developments.   Keep a close watch on the website and the newsletter for details of forthcoming events and professional development opportunities.
