Mathematics with Calculus mentoring for Teachers
Description
GCSN is funding Scholarship Calculus up-skilling for teachers provided by Kevin Quinn. There will be 28 sessions this year.
Kevin is well known for his expertise and author of a number of texts. He will be basing his course on the book "4tφ" written by Simon Todd. It is recommended that you purchase a copy of this book http://www.scholcalc.co.nz/ . Material for the first few sessions will be made available.
Kevin will share tips and ideas for delivering to scholarship students. A variety of topics will be covered.
Each session starts at 7:00pm, finishing approximately 9:00pm.
It is crucial that you signup for this event on the GCSN Event Calendar as we will be forwarding the VC address and pin details through your signup. If you need support with Video Conferencing, contact margot.mckeegan@gcsn.school.nz.
You may attend via VC from your school or in person at Riccarton High School Boardroom.
