Scholarship Technology mentoring for Teachers and Students
Description
Many thanks to John Creighton - HOD Digital Technologies, President New Zealand Association of Digital, Information, Technology Teachers, Burnside High School for organising the current Technology Scholarship sessions with Lesley Pearce.
Lesley Pearce is the National Co-ordinator Technology and Facilitator Team Solutions partners in professional learning. Lesley's 2012 portfolio specialises in all technology areas and DVC. Lesley has taught in England as an Art and Technology teacher and in New Zealand, including 12 years as a HOD at both Diocesan School for Girls and Takapuna Grammar School. She has worked in a variety of Ministry and NZQA initiatives and has convened and presented at conferences for both graphics and technology. Lesley is widely recognised for her passion and enthusiasm in engaging students in their own learning.
Teachers initially connected with Lesley over audio conference to investigate needs and a path forward. There has been two subsequent Video Conferences involving teacher and student on 1 May and 29 May 2012. Recordings of the Video Conference on the 29 May and subsequent sessions will be available for viewing.
